Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Refund Policy

Welcome to Hoosier Buddy LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our moving services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms set forth. Please read these terms carefully before using our services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
At Hoosier Buddy LLC, we understand that plans can change. To accommodate our customers while maintaining an efficient schedule, we have established the following Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:
Long Distance and Commercial Moves:
For long distance and commercial moves, an initial deposit of $100 is required at the time of booking. This deposit serves as a reservation of our services for the scheduled date.

Cancellation Policy: To avoid forfeiture of the deposit, customers must provide a minimum of two weeks' notice of cancellation before the scheduled moving date.

Deposit Retention: If less than two weeks' notice is given for cancellation, the initial deposit of $100 will be retained by Hoosier Buddy LLC.

Rescheduling Policy: Customers have the flexibility to reschedule their move at their convenience. While we recommend providing at least two weeks' notice for rescheduling to help secure preferred move dates, we understand that circumstances may require shorter notice. Please be aware that rescheduling with less than one week's notice may limit the availability of preferred dates. In the event you need to reschedule within the two-week timeframe, a rescheduling fee of $60 will be applicable. If you choose not to reschedule and not to proceed with the original appointment, your deposit of $100 will be retained.
Local Moves, Furniture Donation, Delivery, and Labor Services:
For local moves, furniture donation, delivery, and labor services, an initial deposit of $60 is required at the time of booking. This deposit secures our services and the reservation for the specified moving date.

Rescheduling Policy: Customers can reschedule their local move, furniture donation, delivery, and labor services at any time. However, if they have a preferred date in mind then we request that our customer let us know at least one week in advance to secure their preferred move date. In the event you need to reschedule a service within the one-week window, a rescheduling fee of $40 will be applicable. If you choose not to reschedule and not to proceed with the original appointment, your deposit of $60 will be retained.
Rescheduling by Hoosier Buddy LLC
In rare instances where we must reschedule your move due to unforeseen circumstances, we will reschedule you for free to the next earliest available date. If you choose not to reschedule, your deposit will be fully refunded.
Additional Information
We kindly ask that you provide as much notice as possible if you need to adjust your scheduled move. This allows us to reallocate resources effectively and accommodate the needs of all our customers.
Refund Processing:
Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 3-5 business days, using the original payment method.
Overbooking Policy:
In the rare event that we unintentionally overbook and cannot service your move on the originally scheduled date and time, we will offer a reasonable discount for the inconvenience. We will promptly reschedule your move for the soonest and most convenient available date.
Dispute Resolution:
In case of disputes related to refunds, rescheduling, or cancellations, please refer to the “Dispute Resolution” section in our Terms of Service. Our Terms of Service can be found under the “Resources > Policies” section of our website.
Dangerous Weather Conditions, Natural Disasters, and Government Actions:
In the event of dangerous weather conditions, natural disasters, or government actions that may affect your move, we may be forced to reschedule for safety reasons. In such circumstances, you will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund of your deposit.
